Batik Pattern

Batik Pattern. Lately more and more people interested in the art of Batik, batik fabrics not only make the clothes, but also want to know how to make it. Before you start making  batik we have to draw a pattern first. Basic knowledge that must be possessed before drawing batik patterns that we have to know in advance the parts within an image motif batik pattern. Batik pattern is divided into 3 parts:


1. Principal Ornaments
2. Ornaments Stuffing (Isen-isen)
3. Field Filler Ornaments

1. Principal Ornaments
    Principal ornament is part of a pattern that will be the main pattern, such as a patterned batik patterns are essentially buketan the form of drawing buket lines.

2. Ornaments Stuffing (Isen-isen)
    That meant stuffing Ornaments are pictures that serve to fill out and complete the picture ornaments principal. Ornaments stuffing or isen in batik consist of lines and dots stuffing (Isen). Fields shaped lines called sawut. Stuffing (isen) in the form of points called cecek. So isen which consists of dots and dashes called sawut cecek .

Apart from sawut and cecek, there are also other batik field are:
    a. scale
    b. scales melik
    c. herangan
    d. gringsing
    e. sirapan
    f. chopped gori

3. Field Filler Ornaments
    Field Filler ornaments that batik patterns that serve to fill the field of fabric beyond the principal ornament. Usually patterns filler made with small fields spread throughout the base fabric. This charger can be shaped ornaments motifs of plants, animals, ceplokan, or other geometric patterns.

So in making batik pattern drawing the steps that must be done is as follows:
1. Make principal ornament picture first.
2. Pictures of the finished ornaments principal isen-isen given in every part.
3. The areas outside the motif fabric around the principal or the empty ornament comes with charger according to our wishes.
